Meet our Leaders

Lamar McBride, Chief Executive Officer
Lamar possesses more than 20 years of extensive experience in healthcare strategy development and implementation. He has worked in major comprehensive academic and large health system environments, handling responsibilities for operational management, productivity improvements, physician relationship building, capital construction project management, strategic planning, and policy development.

Lamar earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in health services administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Colorado Association of Healthcare Executives, National Association of Health Services Executives, and the Society of Medical Sonographers. He also serves on the Colorado Hospital Association board of trustees and the finance board for the Long’s Peak Council for the Boy Scouts of America.  He is firmly committed in giving back to his community and actively volunteers with the Shorter AME Church and The Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.

 

Dr. Gary Pearson, Medical Director
With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Pearson is dedicated to delivering comprehensive medical care to our hospitalized patients.

Dr. Pearson is board certified in family medicine. He completed a residency and internship in family medicine at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colo. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, and earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of California, Davis in Davis, Calif. Dr. Pearson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Pearson is fluent in Spanish and is actively involved in medical missions to Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua.

When not working, he can be found enjoying time with his wife and five children. He also enjoys road biking, fly fishing, playing tennis, and reading.

 

Sara Butler, Director of Case Management
Sara enjoys helping patients through the health care process from their time of admission through when they are discharge. She brings 11 years of experience to this role, with seven years spent at the bedside as a registered nurse.

Sara earned her nursing degree from Montgomery College in Rockville, Md.

 

Deb Campbell, Director of Therapy Operations
A registered occupational therapist, Debora is passionate about helping patients return to their highest level of independence.

Debora earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Wittier College in Whittier, Calif. She then continued her education by earning a master’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore. She became an occupational therapy assistant through Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colo., and earned a master’s in occupational therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.

Debora is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and is actively involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Stroke Association, and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.

Debora is a dog lover who enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling. She was born in Tunisia and lived in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia until she was 7 years old. She has considered Colorado her home now for more than 30 years.

 

Christina Salas, Director of Marketing and Business Development
Christina possesses more than 15 years of healthcare experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colo. and a master’s degree in social work from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo. Christina is passionate about providing quality care to patients of Northern Colorado.

She is a member of the Colorado Hospital Association, National Stroke Association, and Northern Colorado Business Report. She also is involved with Professionals for Seniors, Northern Colorado Health Care Summit, and Sharing the Care Campaign.

Christina enjoys traveling with her family and enjoying the outdoors bike riding and being in her flowers gardens.

 

Justin Turnbull, Director of Plant Operations
Justin takes pride in ensuring the physical components of the hospital are well maintained and operating effectively, along with housekeeping and safety.

He brings 13 years of healthcare maintenance experience to his role. Justin earned an associate’s degree in animal science from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo. He is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE).

Justin is very involved in his church with his family. He is an avid bow hunter and fisherman.

 

Amy Lauridsen, Director of HR
Amy has 11 years of experience in HR in industries ranging from health care, distribution, manufacturing, and public libraries.  She thrives on bringing value to the organization through utilization of human capital and being an advocate for both the organization and its employees.

Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently a certified Professional in Human Resources.

She enjoys spending time in the mountains.  Amy is passionate about volleyball.  She is actively involved in coaching, as well as, participating in volleyball in the Northern Colorado Area.

 

Rachael Wilson, RN, MSNDirector of Nursing Operations
Rachael possesses more than 7 years of healthcare leadership experience. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wyoming and a Master’s degree in nursing leadership and administration from Western Governors University. Rachael is passionate about providing high quality, evidence based care to a wide variety of patients in Northern Colorado.

When not working she can be found enjoying time on the golf course, in the mountains, or with her extended friends and family.
